i think eweryone here knows english.... 
but since this is a latvian site, then we have no need to speak english in daily.
About learning latvian:
1) Latvian language is really hard to learn for foreigners, so if u wanted to learn it - it would take u many years....
2) also - doubt that there are many latvian teachers in USA...

More like "each one". n_n
I think almost everyone (with few exceptions <.<) here understands english pretty well, since we watch fansubs with english subtitles. :3

well to be completly homest i found this place thru yahoo image search.. i found something from the art section and joined thinking "Wow bitching anime forum!!!" it didnt even occure to me it was in a diff lang till this morning ( the first time i visited the site ) but umm yeah
